Elise’s Morning Drink Stack Routine

One of my secrets to success is making things as automatic as possible. I thrive on building in routines I don’t have to think about they just become part of my day like brushing my teeth.

I love habit stacking, bio-hacking, and finding ways to make my nutrition and fitness as effective as possible. As a mom of two running multiple businesses, every second counts—and I’ve learned that the best way to keep up with the chaos is to start my day on the right foot.

For the last almost 6 months I have made a small change to my morning routine that as soon as I brush my teeth I immediately go to the kitchen before doing anything else and start by hydrating.

But hydrating smart.

I actually picked this up from Gary Brecka, a human biologist and performance specialist who’s worked with everyone from elite athletes to entrepreneurs. He’s all about breaking down health into simple, science-backed habits—and this one stuck with me. Check his podcast out here

SO here’s exactly how my mornings kick off.

Step 1: Hydrogen Water + Mineral Salt

The very first thing I do when I get up is head straight for the kitchen and pour myself a 14-16oz glass of water and drop in a hydrogen (H₂) tablet from H2 TAB and stir in about ¼ teaspoon of Baja Gold mineral salt. The H2 tablet will take a couple minutes to fully dissolve.

I like to think of this as giving my body its wake-up call and here’s some benefits:

  • The hydrogen water helps fight off inflammation, lowers oxidative stress, and gets my cells fired up for the day.
  • The mineral salt adds electrolytes and trace minerals most of us are missing, which helps me stay hydrated. (You can also use this salt for cooking)

Step 2: Second glass of Water with Perfect Aminos (especially before working out)

For early AM workouts, I don’t usually eat before my workouts, and this is the perfect solution. Perfect Aminos give my muscles all the essential amino acids they need to repair, recover, and perform—without breaking a fast (I don’t fast but for those who do). It’s still an amazing way to support workouts and protect lean muscle especially if you aren’t eating protein before your workout.

Personally I use this in the morning even on my rest days.

During this time is when I take my supplements like Fatty15 and other specific ones to me. Not going to drop specific supplements because everyone has different needs based on your goals and what you have going on.

This small morning tweak has become something I don’t even think about and takes 5 minutes. I start the day hydrated and fueling in a way that sets me up for the rest of the day.

Maybe you like different products or ways to hydrate but the key is to figure out what works for you and stack it first thing in the morning so there’s no excuses for missing it during the day!
